Bichet School is a one-room school built in 1896 using native limestone. It was used until 1946 when it was closed due to low enrollment and sold at auction. It been sitting unused for going on 75 years and still appears to be in excellent shape. This is rather amazing for a privately owned schoolhouse. It's a testament to the quality of the original construction and the care of the owners.
Photography has been a passion of mine for over 45 years and I look forward to making photos for the next 45. I hope that you like my photos; I am okay with it if you dislike them; I just hope I never bore you. I haven't deliberately developed a certain style as I like most styles and genres of photography. I will admit a preference for black and white images as I find them more expressive but not to the exclusion of color images. I creatively edit my images to convey to the viewer the spirit of what I saw and felt about the scene rather than trying to document the scene journalistically. All of the images were made and processed by me. All are copyrighted, all rights reserved.
