Description
A 3-shot panorama of the Niels Esperson Building along Travis Street in downtown Houston.
The 32-story Niels Esperson building was completed in 1927 and is a great example of neo-classic/Italian Renaissance style. It is wonderfully detailed with columns, great urns, terraces, and a grand tempietto at the top similar to one in the courtyard of San Pietro in Rome. It was built by Niels Esperson, an oil and real estate tycoon, and designed by architect John Eberson.
This is now surrounded by newer and taller buildings making it difficult to get a good ground level view from a distance. Interestingly you can get a good sense of the tempietto if you stand by the front door and look at the reflection in the glass building across the street.

Brilliant fabulous amazing piece of work Mike. I love the contrast between the moving clouds and the perfectly still buildings. Great work.
