I love how this tomb conveys the raw emotion of grief from losing a loved one. The marble statuary is exquisite. The soft flowing lines and detail captivate and their beauty and gentleness make the pain of loss all that much more real even now over a 100 years later. The tomb is of Maria Josepha Perez de Urria (d. 1871) in Necrópolis Cristóbal Colón.

Photography has been a passion of mine for over 45 years and I look forward to making photos for the next 45. I will admit a preference for black and white images as I find them more expressive but not to the exclusion of color images.
