About Mike Schaffner
Photography has been a passion of mine for over 45 years and I look forward to making photos for the next 45. I hope that you like my photos; I am okay with it if you dislike them; I just hope I never bore you. I haven't deliberately developed a certain style as I like most styles and genres of photography. I will admit a preference for black and white images as I find them more expressive but not to the exclusion of color images. I creatively edit my images to convey to the viewer the spirit of what I saw and felt about the scene rather than trying to document the scene journalistically. All of the images were made and processed by me. All are copyrighted, all rights reserved.

All of your photos are great Mike. This one is me wandering around the back roads with my camera looking for something to shoot at. L/f
Mike Schaffner replied:
Thanks Jack, some of the best photos are found by just wandering around
